Christmas Celebration Dinner

Intronization Dinner

Dress: Black Tie Formal with Medals and Ribbons The 2012 intronization Gala marks a return to the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel. The Hotel is one of the original Chaine supporters in Vancouver and has been a friend of the Chaine for just over 40 years. Bacchus Bistro at Domaine de Chaberton

Dress: Business Casual with Medals and Ribbons We had a delightful autumn Luncheon at the Bacchus Bistro, situated at the picturesque Domaine de Chaberton Estate Winery in Langley. Our custom menu, expertly prepared in the classic French French Bistro style by chef Ashley, featured fine wine pairings from Domaine de Chaberton's own cellars. After our luncheon, we had a special private guided tour of the winery. This event provided a unique opportunity to enjoy both the beauty and bounty of the Fraser Valley. Black and Blue

Dress: Business Formal with Medals and Ribbons Imad Yacoub and the Glowball Group hosted the first dinner of the fall season at their recently opened restaurant "BLACK AND BLUE". The format will be an intimate dinner for only 36, featuring special offerings from three different Glowball restaurants, the "COAST, the "ITALIAN KITCHEN" and of course "BLACK AND BLUE" to give a true taste of "Alberni Street" experience. Bob Charlton matched the three contributors with the wines of the Vancouver Chaine cellar to create what will be an impressive start to the fall and winter season.

The Floating Assemblage Group from the USA and Great Britain

Maitre Rotisseur Daniel Craig, who joined us in November of 2011, hosted our event dinner. Executive Chef Daniel Craig represented Canada in the Meilleur Jeune Commis Rotisseurs International Competition in Australia where he placed First among the 23 competing national champions. This was his first Vancouver Chaine event. This dinner is an International event as we hosted the Provincial Bailli du Pacific Northwest Michael Martello along with 23 Chaine members from across the United States. AGM & Auction -2012

Once more, the elegant Shaughnessy Golf & Club hosted the venue for our Chaine Annual General Meeting and Fundraising Auction. This popular event provides the perfect opportunity for our members to get together with fellow members and guests and enjoy fine food and wine, while participating in our fun and exciting auction. An Intimate Dinner for 40

Members of the Chaine are invited to an intimate dinner for 40 at the new French Table April 12 2012. In 2011 Hervé Martin left the neon up-tempo late nights of Robson Street and closed L’ Hermitage Restaurant which had been a feature there for 24 years. He has now opened his French Table bistro in the rapidly evolving Riley Park neighborhood of Main Street.
