Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs

For members with a particular interest in wines, spirits, liqueurs and crafted beverage, the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs offers the option to join the Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (OM). The Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs was founded in Paris on 2nd September 1963 and is an integral part of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. Its goal is to promote the enjoyment, appreciation and knowledge of fine wines, quality spirits, beers and mineral waters from around the world.

A major objective and task of the OM is to organise dinners, tastings, meetings and events focusing on wine and beverages, and pairing them with the appropriate dishes. These type of events encourage and foster an understanding and appreciation of wines and spirits which is valued by OM members and their guests.

The membership of the OM also includes professionals working in the drinks sector, such as distributors and producers, and amateurs who simply have a love or passion for fine wines and quality spirits.
