Chaîne members and friends are most warmly invited to join us for one of the highlights of the year – our 2017 Chaîne AGM, Dinner & Auction at the elegant Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club.
The evening will begin at 5:45 pm with a brief update on the Chaîne council’s efforts on behalf of members, followed a relaxed reception and sumptuous buffet dinner (complete with mouthwatering appetizers, four inspired tasting stations, an outstanding seafood bar, assorted dessert delectable, and a selection of fine cheeses created and presented by our own Maitre Rôtisseur Peter Crook and his brigade, and complemented by Bob Charlton’s customary selection of fine wines.
As ever, one of the highlights of the evening will be our Chaîne Live and Silent Auctions, the proceeds of which will support our bailliage, while also affording us the ability to provide scholarships for promising young chefs and sommeliers.
Auction items include a wide selection of both individual fine wines, as well as gift certificates for dinners at some of Vancouver’s top restaurants, luxury hotel stays, some exceptional and even unique foods, chef’s quality culinary items and much, much more.
