Italian Wine & Cheese Pairings: March 19 & 20

Dear Ordre Mondial and Chaîne members,

Once again, in the spirit of our Bailliage’s desire to bring you culinary events that both entertain and educate, you are most warmly invited to join us for a fun, relaxed and informative exploration of Italian wines and cheeses and how to best pair them for the optimal taste experience.

This event, led by our Vice-Conseiller Gastronomique Bob Charlton, will feature an assemblage of seven classic Italian red, white and sparkling wines presented for pairing with nine fine Italian cheeses. The selection of cheeses will reflect a wide range of styles, from creamy soft to hard-cooked cheeses, as well as selected cheeses of different ages.

Handouts will be provided with information on successful wine and cheese pairing as well as a list of the sampled wines and cheeses with room for your own tasting notes.

This is going to be a delightful way to welcome spring. I hope to see you there. Please note that seating is limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
