BC’s “Best” Chardonnays: A Blind Tasting

At this special event:

• We will sit down to 6 unidentified glasses of wine
• These will arguably be the best Chardonnays made in British Columbia
• We’ll rank them according to what we like the best
• The results will be tabulated and the wines revealed
• DJ Kearney will provide a commentary, and I’m sure there’ll be discussion
• More wine will be poured with food pairings by Chef Kaesta Mcfee

DJ Kearney is a global wine expert, veteran educator, speaker and judge. She currently hangs her hat at Vancouver’s Terminal City Club, as Director of Wine. DJ is especially devoted to the wines of her home region. For many years, she has been an industry adviser and ambassador for BC wines, teaching and presenting on behalf of the industry.  DJ has toured international critics and personalities like Decanter’s Steven Spurrier through the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys and inaugurated the Judgment of BC benchmark tasting. She has assessed Canadian wines for several decades, judging the National Wine Awards for 23 straight years.

Wine enthusiasts from the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, and friends will be joining to taste an amazing selection of wine. You may want to stay for dinner in the Marine Lounge.

Cost: $120 (includes gratuities and taxes). Seating is limited.
