Wines of the Rhone

An exploration of the red wines of one of France’s great wine regions

Dear OM and Chaîne Members,                  

The beautiful, crisp days of autumn are here. As temperatures cool it’s time to start thinking about the warmth you get from a good glass of red wine.

The heartland of big, bold red wines is France’s Rhone valley. At this tasting we will explore some of the various villages and styles from the Rhone River region.

Dominant in Grenache and Syrah, our selection of wines from the Rhone Valley are sure to delight. A number of these wines have been patiently ageing in the Chaine cellar and should be showing at their peak.

Lovely sips of wine will be accompanied by delectable canapés created by The Vancouver Club’s Executive Chef Matthew Taylor. This is going to be a relaxed and informative event, and we very much look forward to seeing you there!
