Cheese and wine! Was there ever a most sublime pairing? Once again, in the spirit of our Bailliage’s desire to bring you events that both indulge your tastebuds and educate, you are warmly invited to join us for a fun, relaxed and informative exploration of Spanish cheeses and wines and how to best pair them for the optimal taste experience.
This event will feature eight fine Spanish cheeses (as curated with the assistance of Allison Spurrell of Les amis du fromage) paired with a selection of classic Spanish reds and sparkling Cava as well as fine Spanish sherry (as curated by our Bob Charlton). Our selection of cheeses will reflect a wide range of flavour profiles and styles as well as Spain’s most renowned cheese at three different ages along with some tasty Spanish complements.
Handouts will be provided with information on successful wine and cheese pairing as well as a list of the sampled wines and cheeses with room for tasting notes.
